Psycho-Physical Therapy (PPT) is strongly focused on the confluence of physical, emotional, and psychological experiences. PPT does more than just passively reference the body, it actively integrates both psychotherapy and body therapy techniques throughout all stages of the therapeutic process. This evening presentation will explore the technique of “Physicalizing.” Physicalizing is the process of giving physical form to a client’s psychological and emotional manifestations. It is a powerful method to get a client “out of their head” and into direct awareness of core organization. It allows for greater clarity and insight, deeper understanding, and tangible avenues towards transformation.
