Having one of the most biologically diverse ecosystems in the world, Ecuador is a beautiful place making it only fitting to hold a Congress on ecology and infectious diseases and a class on GIS for health and tropical medicine in a place with so much to offer. During Spring Break 2016, USF will be offering courses on Tropical/Travel Medicine and GIS followed by the Congress with authorities in this field for 4 days discussing topics such as ecology of infectious diseases, treatment and resistance, vaccines, tropical diseases, travel vaccinations, disease surveillance, and the future of tropical medicine.
