Marco Rios is a Los Angeles-based artist whose conceptual practice constructs elliptical narratives that reference his own body, the representation of artists in film, or his own childhood artwork. His sculpture, photography, video, and performance works have been exhibited at LACMA, Los Angeles; Artists Space, New York; and MASS MoCA, in addition to solo projects at Yerba Buena Center for the Arts; LAXART, Los Angeles; and most recently, a third solo exhibition at Simon Preston Gallery, New York.
