Park McArthur creates sculptures and installations that emphasize overlooked everyday forms of marginalization. Her works have highlighted the forms, materials, and signs that govern both access and exclusion of people with disabilities. Her recent exhibition Ramps calls to mind diverse references in the history of contemporary art and sculpture, yet shudders with recognition of the prejudice underlying the shoddy construction of these real-world attempts to provide entry. McArthur lives and works in New York.

Presented in partnership with Food For Thought.
