The Symposium to follow the musical program.
In ancient Greece people came to a symposium to drink, listen to music and philosophize. Through that practice the symposium came alive and brought people together through sharing their thirst for knowledge, their own ideas, at the same time enjoying the talents of artists and musicians in their midst. Because the singers interact with the audience, we like to call it a Recital and Symposium in ‘Greek style” -
‘a convivial meeting of drinking, music and intellectual discussion’.
