Come celebrate Human Rights Day 2015 with champions of human rights, civil rights, and social justice from across the (San Francisco) Bay Area.
In 1950, the United Nations established Human Rights Day to publicize and commemorate the rights enshrined in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Now, 65 years later, it is an opportunity to reflect on these shared values, learn about efforts to address human rights violations in our own communities and abroad, and connect with people working on a wide range of fundamental rights issues.
This event is co-sponsored by Human Rights Advocates, Amnesty International, Asylum Access, Accountability Counsel, the Center for Justice & Accountability, Institute for Justice & Democracy in Haiti, Center for Gender & Refugee Studies, and the International Justice Resource Center.
Wine and light appetizers will be served.
When: Thursday, December 10, 2015 from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM (PST)
Where: International Justice Resource Center - 39 Drumm St San Francisco, CA, USA 94111
