"Evanescence" with Michael Arcega, Amy Balkin, Natascha Seideneck
November 24, 2015 – February 11, 2016
Rising seas, unprecedented floods, heat waves, desertification– the work of these three artists explore our known landscape in both direct and indirect ways, situated in the global narrative.
"Evanescence" is the second exhibition in a year-long curatorial program with curator-in-residence Tomiko Jones. The program, Cumulus, focuses on the environment through the lens of water - engaging water as metaphor, site of cultural practice, and locus of spiritual belief.
