In honor of Native American Heritage Month, the Cultural Centers are hosting members of the San Francisco Ohlone people. The event will include a performance of traditional and modern Ohlone songs (by Carla Munoz, Luta, Anthony Sul and their crew) and a panel discussion around pre-contact history, the impact of the missions and the California gold rush, as well as the modern circumstances of the original people of this region.
