What are microaggressions?
“Racial microaggressions are brief and commonplace daily verbal, behavioral, or environmental indignities, whether intentional or unintentional, that communicate hostile, derogatory, or negative racial slights and insults towards people of color.”
Why was this page started?
This page was started by a group of USF students who wanted to have a space to share microaggressions. Currently no space exists to share these experiences in a formal setting. We wanted to give students an understanding and affirmation of their experiences with microaggressions.
Who is this page for?
This page is for any individual identified with any subordinated identity whether it be racial, ability, gender, sexual orientation, etc.
PLEASE do NOT submit the names of any perpetrators.
It is OKAY to name the title of the perpetrator (i.e. professor, administrator, etc.), but no other specifics.
