"Out of the Closet, Off of the Streets: Understanding Queer Youth Homelessness in San Francisco" an American University Alternative Break spring trip
Participants will focus on the intersections of two broad social justice themes: homelessness and LGBTQ rights. We want to engage with the specific issue of queer homeless youth on the streets, and will work with community organizations around San Francisco to understand how communities are responding to the needs of queer and trans homeless youth.
