Aim of the Program:
The program provides an intense technical foundation and a broad design education to meet the ever changing demands of the Fashion industry. Within the scope of these two areas the course aims to embody the student with expressive design and technical skills, broaden their communicative and intellectual awareness as well as their conceptual thinking. Students are encouraged to develop a creative and innovative attitude towards their work leading to professional literacy towards fashion design which will prepare them for employment in any area of the fashion or retail industry.
Objectives of the Program are as follows:
To enable students to develop and fulfil their creative and intellectual abilities.
To create innovative individuals with the thorough knowledge and practical expertise in generating, developing and realising ideas to a high professional standard.
To encourage students to challenge the prevailing fashion ethics.
To develop young designers geared towards employment in the fashion industry.
