We are the Flight Attendant Medical Research Institute (FAMRI) Bland Lane Center of Excellence on Second Hand Smoke at UCSF.
The FAMRI Bland Lane Center of Excellence on Second Hand Smoke at UCSF serves an important clinical role to the flight attendant community, both current and retired. We are the only clinic to offer medical evaluation, lung function testing and electrocardiogram (heart) testing to non-smoking flight attendants who have been exposed to secondhand tobacco smoke on aircrafts. In fact, we compensate our flight attendant patients with $100, free parking and free round-trip transportation from SFO to Mission Bay.
