Join us for this first Annual Conference to hear amazing speakers update us on the good news of what's changing as well as what help is still needed to support animals in mainland China and Taiwan. Speakers are from around the world--including Dr. Peter Li, China Policy consultant of Humane Society International, Xie Sheng of Don't Eat Friends on the huge vegan movement in China, Tseng Hong Chu of Environment and Animal Society of Taiwan on what needs to be done to address the growing factory farming industry, Ray Zhu, US Outreach Manager of AnimalsAsia on advocacy and education re; Bear Bile Farming, Safari's and Zoo's and their widespread humane animal welfare education program, Hallly Chang from PETA-Asia will address fur farming in China and how 1/2 of fur used in USA comes from China. Andrea Gung, Exec. Dir. of Duo Duo Animal Welfare Project will provide exciting update on the "Stop the Yulin Dog Meat Festival. Sponsored by Duo Duo Animal Welfare Project, this event is cosponsored by: Humane Society International, Golden Gate University Law School, Student Animal Legal Defense Fund, Student International Law Society and Northern California Animal Advocates Coalition
