The Brain Development Research Program at the University of California, San Francisco aims to better understand the genetic causes and clinical characteristics of autism, epilepsy, and brain development disorders.
As part of the study, we conduct high-resolution genetic analysis (including whole genome sequencing), detailed chart reviews, and structural (MRI, DTI) and functional (MEG, fMRI) brain imaging. We also leverage information gained from studying animal models to inform our cohort studies.
