Best Buddies is an international non-profit organization whose mission is to establish a global volunteer movement that creates opportunities for one-to-one friendships, integrated employment, and leadership development for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
There are 9.3 million people with intellectual disabilities in the U.S. who have traditionally been segregated from society. By participating in Best Buddies, we include people with disabilities and expand their circle of friends. Best Buddies helps us make a difference in someone else’s life and our own, while promoting a more inclusive society.
